February being the months of love – or, depending on your relationships status, the month when the entire world reminds you just how single you – it’s only befitting that Dsection Magazine’s new issue has been christened The Lovers Issue.
Aline and Jacqueline draw inspiration from iconic artist and illustrator Mel Odom, whose notorious for exploring human identity, duality and sensuality iconoclastically, to which the photographers pay homage. Sebastian Suave and Mark Cox (Why Not Models) feature on the first cover, which we also consider to be the best conceived and executed of the two.
Julia Zimmer and Yulia Leontyeva (also of Why Not Models) grace the second cover in Prada, and, though not as iconic as the Cox/Suave cover, the late ‘80s to early ‘90s air makes it a visual delight nonetheless.
Readers can also expect editorial from French photographer Nicolas Valois and model Francisco Cymbron of Elite Model Management (Lisbon). So, if previous Dsection issues are anything to judge by, then we can all expect another bumper issue.
